Life Is Like A Mirror by Ian Kinnery

Your life will be a reflection of you and so will be your business. If you are untidy, pay little attention to detail and are self centred your business will also be untidy, full of mistakes and fail to develop trust among your potential clientele.

That is why if you want to get better results you first have to be better.

Jim Rohn said, “never wish that life were easier, wish that you were better”. There is nothing that one person can do that can’t be learnt by others.

So if you want to be able to close business like the best salesman in the world, lead like Branson, be trusted like Mandela, revered like the Queen Mother, you can learn to do any or all of those things, if you want to.

But don’t be fooled into thinking that just doing what they did will work. It won’t. their success comes both from what they do and who they are. You can imitate Mandela all that you want but if in your core you are still selfish, all you will ever be is a pale imitator. The real you will find its reflection in the results.

If you have ever tried to study and copy someone who is really excellent at something you will find that until you take on their inner personality as well as their outer characteristics you will never even come close to matching their results.

So if you really want to emulate someone you need to not only copy what they do but also take on who they are. The change on the inside is always the harder challenge, and remember if life, and business, is a reflection, it will be a reflection of who you are more than what you do.
